The 0–3 age range represents the most critical period of early childhood, during which the brain develops most rapidly and the foundations of learning are established. At Gymboree Play & Music Ataşehir, we approach this stage with a play-based and science-informed perspective that supports each child’s natural potential. Experiences offered at the right time and with the right content strengthen a child’s cognitive capacity, attention skills, and motivation to learn.

At this age, children experience the world by moving, touching, experimenting, and repeating. Play is not only a source of enjoyment, but also the most effective pathway to developing strong bodies and strong minds. At our Ataşehir center, structured play sessions lasting 40–45 minutes, integrated into the daily routine, contribute to more balanced sleep and nutrition patterns. Activities such as crawling, climbing, cruising, and balance work support muscle development while strengthening the connection between the brain and the body.

At the core of our program are the principles of the “Whole Child Approach” and “Follow the Child’s Lead.”
Each child is a unique whole, with their own interests, temperament, and pace of development. For this reason, activities are designed to observe the child’s cues, encourage without pressure, and keep curiosity at the center. Through play, music, art, and language activities, all areas of development are supported together in a holistic way.

The Mini Pre-School Steps program at our Ataşehir branch is offered as a parent-accompanied program and is planned for 2 days per week, 2 hours per day. The program includes:

With this structure, children socialize alongside their parents in a safe and nurturing environment, while naturally and gently preparing for a smooth transition to the Pre-School Steps program, which they will attend independently in later stages.
